Bosques de las Lomas is a highly secure area of Mexico City thanks to the patrols and other security activities of the Policía Bancaria e Industrial, a semi-private police group paid by the residents and supervised by the neighborhood association. They are considered to be the best police group in Mexico. There is supermarket shopping and a neighborhood shopping mall just a few minutes away, and several large malls and innumerable excellent restaurants fifteen minutes in every direction. The center of Mexico City is fifteen minutes away, passing the zoo and some of the most prominent art and science museums in Latin America. The airport is forty minutes away. |
